We’ve been witnessing several casualties & failures through the lack of boiler’s automations.

Specifically through the water level automation systems, many failures has been observed.

Such disasters might be considered as a catastrophic situations, can be avoided by Marine Boiler Controller & Safety systems Retrofit projects onboard maritime vessels.

Supposed, you as an owner of a maritime vessel have owned an obsolete maritime vessel, containing an out of order boiler automations.

An specific water & steam level automation PLC designated to continuously monitor & maintain the level & pressure.

The entire system devices are communicating on the PROFINET to the burner’s automation PLC.

In the captioned project, we’ve retrofitted two set individual automation PLC (s) inside the obsolete control panels.

Entire project performed under supervision from RINA classification society, therefore relevant approvals achieved.

Marine approved type PLCs, hired to last against a harsh environment, resisting against vibration , heat and humidity.

The retrofitted system (RCS-ZMZ-002586) is basis over an robust platform from SIEMENS brand.

Considering minimum 55 centigrade degree of air temperature (adjacent to the boiler) & unfortunately no any cooling means!

Marine Boiler Controller & Safety systems Retrofit project upgraded the Boiler’s burner’s analogue “WEISHAUPT” controller, which has been equipped with an analogue load-controller means to continuously monitor & control the intense of the flame to maintain the steam pressure.
