ASD Tugboat OMEGA Controller & Safety upgrade marine project over the Japanese gearbox implemented to achieve our company’s motto: “innovations for renovations”
The ASD Tugboat OMEGA Controller upgraded by means of the additional Transmitters and Feedbacks included in the Closed-Loop control and safety system.
The RCS-ZMZ-002576-79 intelligent system retrofitted, and so upgraded the ASD Tugboat OMEGA Controller to perform the renovation project:
Feedbacks are determinative to establish a closed loop control, because improves the features of the safety and control system.
Marine strategic features over the ASD Tugboat OMEGA Controller embedded to the “Sub-Routine” of the “ZMZ” software.
Simultaneously, we established two internal closed loop control schemes and to prevent overshooting in the azimuth angle.
To damp overshoot of the azimuth angle, means to provide an smooth and precise movement over the azimuth hydraulic system.
An open-loop control to adjust RPM over the shaft established, which is receiving the control command through the PLC.
The E/P converters are controlling the fuel-rod command angle (electropneumatic control system) located over the engine governor.
The PLC is continuously monitoring the engine shaft speed through the marine-SSU 's (marine safety system) speed-encoder , located on the crankshaft end.
The speed control over the engine is consisting of one open loop (PLC command to the governor) and an independent closed loop controls.
The first closed loop control is taking the feedback internally from the engine shaft RPM and performs a push-pull over the fuel-rack.
The second closed-loop control is continuously monitoring the scavenge pressure over the engines and calculating amount of load over the shaft (through the intelligent marine-strategies embedded in the PLC).
In the SSU, to providing safety and control curves to monitor the engine's load.
Another closed-loop control is monitoring amount of load over the clutch and performs smooth clutch engagement through the marine gearbox.
